The UCLA Bruins added their second commitment in as many days on Thursday, as three-star offensive lineman Bruno Fina from Arizona announced his commitment to the Bruins. He made his announcement on Twitter.
In his announcement, he wrote that he would be attending UCLA for the “next five years,” which is a bold statement in a day and age when so many players seem to be in a hurry to get to the NFL. It certainly is a breath of fresh air.
That is undoubtedly influenced by the fact that his father, former NFL tackle John Fina, played 11 seasons in the league including ten years for the Buffalo Bills where he played in two Super Bowls.
Bruno Fina is a 6’4”, 240 pound offensive lineman from Salpointe Catholic in Tucson, Arizona. He has a three-star rating via 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, where he is listed as the 64th best offensive guard in the nation and the 24th best recruit in the state of Arizona.
